Eg2 is an organization that supports young artists through educating, developing, and showcasing their creativity. We strive to foster students and teachers to build confidence, enable productive relationships and to provide better education for kids. Eg2 provides creative development, art community connections, public awareness, and innovative art events to raise the quality of life in our community. Your donation will provide scholarship opportunities and supplies to students in need during our Summer Academy. These classes offer a chance for young artists to focus on the foundations of art while developing traditional techniques. In each workshop, students will explore meaningful concepts, practice with a variety of art mediums, and create a collection of works based the sessions focus. Limited class sizes create an opportunity for individual attention and workshops are designed to offer a full array of visual art techniques that will stimulate, challenge, and encourage our young artists. For every $250 raised we will be able to accept another scholarship student in need of this amazing opportunity. The minimum donation of $20 will help us provide supplies needed for our students to continue their art outside of our workshops. A simple class can create a lasting impression and spark passion in a child who may not know what they are capable of. We want to keep art alive in our community and continue to inspire the youth.
